Ceratopsian
Diabloceratops eatoni 2002
Diabloceratops eatoni was discovered in 2002 in Utah’s Wahweap Formation during a paleontological survey. Extracting and preparing its skull took years, with volunteers and experts working to free it from sandstone. Despite some missing parts, the skull was well-preserved and later reconstructed. Its study helped clarify ceratopsian evolution and placement.
